We have used a number of innovative solutions that allow you to achieve amazing results in a quick and simple way. The most important of them is the use of a rotating platform that allows you to rotate the photographed or filmed object, which is necessary to create 360-degree animations or videos, one of the most important trends in e-commerce today. The walls of the Optima 360 Studio are U-shaped, thanks to which the background is uniform, without visible edges, refractions and shadows. The equal distance of the rear wall in the shape of a semicircle from the center of the rotating platform allows for gentle lighting of the back of the photographed object.

Other parameters such as the light color of 5.600K and a very high color rendering index RA (CRI)> 95 will make the colors in the photos look very natural.

It is of great importance that thanks to specialized LED modules and a diffusion fabric with specially selected parameters, the height of the light box with the supporting structure is 30 cm. Thanks to this, the OPTIMA 360 studio can be installed in quite low rooms, which was unthinkable until recently.

This studio, in addition to the function of creating photo-video materials in 360-degree technology, plays an important role as an exhibition. This dual solution is often used in car showrooms, large-format stores, museums and other showrooms. When no photo-video sessions are taking place, the rotating platform, which is mounted in the floor, allows the rotation of the exhibited object, attracting the attention of customers. PERFECTA 360

This is a photo-video studio for the most demanding photographers and filmmakers, built as a cyclorama. You can perform any type of sessions there, including those in 360 degree technology. For this, there is a mounted rotating platform that allows you to rotate the photographed or filmed object, which is necessary to create 360-degree animations or videos, currently one of the most important e-commerce trends. The walls of the PERFECTA 360 Studio are U-shaped. All three walls are straight, but what is characteristic of the cyclorama, there are no right-angle corners between them, only arches with a radius of 500 mm, so the background is uniform, with no visible edges, refractions and shadows. The use of specialized paint on the walls and floor of the studio allows the object to be suspended in space and illuminated from all sides.

Professionals will appreciate the “artificial sky” solution developed by us, which shines evenly across the entire surface of the ceiling with a luminous flux of over 600.000 lumens. ROTARY PLAFORM

The use of rotating platforms in photo-video studios makes them actual studios for creating photos and videos in 360-degree technology. It is currently one of the most important trends in eCommerce. According to Adobe’s What Shoppers Want Study, 91 percent of mid-sized and large online businesses say 360-degree photography is a must. On the other hand, the research conducted by the “Internet Retailer Magazine” shows that 360 product photography implemented in online stores increased conversion rates by about 13%.

These spectacular results are due to the fact that buyers can now interact with the product, zoom in, rotate and view it from any angle, having full control of what they want to see, not be satisfied with what the seller has allowed them to see.

In addition to increasing sales, the use of 360-degree photos increases brand retention, inspires trust as a seller who is not afraid to show the product from all sides, i.e. having nothing to hide, and thus reduces the number of returns due to non-compliance with expectations.

As a manufacturer of rotating platforms with many years of experience, we have selected the following models from our extensive offer to be used in photo-video studios:

1. POL/4.5M-1T/2.5T/WM with manual drive

It is the simplest, low-budget model of a rotary platform with a diameter of 4.5 meters and a load capacity of 1 or 2.5 tons.

It allows you to manually rotate an object placed on it in order to set it at different angles in relation to a fixed camera. The perfect bearing of the platform enables trouble-free rotation of even heavy 2.5-tonne vehicles standing on it with one hand or even a finger (see the video).

The very low platform height, depending on the type of studio floor, from 104 to 130 mm, allows for comfortable access to the platform with the use of short ramps, thus saving space. The rotary platform can also be installed in a mounting niche in the floor.

It is the most popular model of a rotary platform with a diameter of 5 meters and a load capacity of 1 or 2.5 or 3.5 tons.

The movement of the rotating platform is realized by a powerful and precise servo drive, and the starting and stopping is done by a radio remote control. Speed control, reverse rotation and the safety stop button are located on the control box.

The excellent bearing of the platform allows for quiet rotation of even heavy vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons standing on it. The very low platform height, depending on the type of studio floor, from 104 to 130 mm, allows for comfortable access to the platform with the use of short ramps, thus saving space. The rotary platform can also be installed in a mounting niche in the floor.

3. POL/5M-1T/2.5T/FOTO controlled by Object 2VR Studio

The photo platform Foto has all the advantages and functions such as the POL/5M-1T/2.5T/EXPO rotary platform, and also has extensive control automation, which in combination with a camera and a control program, allows you to fully automatically take 360 degrees photos (animations). In practice, this means that the photographer after setting the parameters on the computer (e.g. the number of photos for full turnover, exposure time), he does not have to perform any activities.

The platform will rotate the set angle and stop. The camera will take a photo and, after closing the shutter, will pass the command to the rotary machine to perform the next turn by the set angle. The process will repeat until full turnover, but any number of photos can be taken.

Object2VR software enables the creation of single-row, multi-row and multi-rod object films. Supports JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PSD and QuickTime VR source files.

Object2VR allows you to place hotspots, e.g. with pop-up information, distinguish specific areas of the object or open other object-oriented films. The hotspot editor makes it easier to apply hotspots to a single image or to the whole project.
The skin editor is a powerful tool that allows you to design your own appearance of the player. You can also add animations, sound effects and non -standard buttons, thanks to which the movie will become more attractive.
Multi-resolution allows users to see more details in generated object films thanks to multi-level, smooth approximation and additional control. The supported output formats are HTML5 and Flash.
Retouch can be done directly in Object2VR. You can cut, use the mask and adjust the movement of the object without leaving the program.
Plugins for CMS systems allow you to efficiently publish the designed interactive object -oriented films directly to the website made in WordPress, Joomla or Drupal using a special format.

In our photo-video studios we install lighting like “artificial sky”, which shines evenly across the entire surface of the ceiling with a luminous flux of over 600,000 lumens. It is our original solution, whose important components are elements such as specialized LED light sources, diffusion fabric with specially selected parameters, reflectors, transformers and drivers.

All parameters have been calculated and selected on the basis of our many years of experience. Due to their optimization, the height of the light box together with the supporting structure is 30 cm, in some cases even up to 20 cm. As a result, you can use professional overhead lighting without the need for very high rooms.

Division of lighting into zones

LIGHT BOX

It has the same functions and advantages as the integrated lighting described in the above point, with the difference that it is a self-supporting structure that does not need to be supported on the studio walls. However, it must be suspended from the ceiling structure with steel cables.

It is an obligatory equipment in the DECORIA 360 studio version and optional in the PERFECTA 360 studio.

Due to its autonomous structure, the artificial sky light box can also be installed without the studio development, e.g. in showrooms, museums, hotels etc.

The gate is made of two movable structural elements that can be set at any angle on both sides of the camera, leaving only the lens visible. Such exposure closes the area behind the camera that could be reflected in highly glossy surfaces, e.g. car paint.

Light construction allows easy movement. When the studio is not in use, the gate can be completely closed, forming the fourth wall of the studio, thus protecting it and not taking up additional space.

It can be optional equipment in the OPTIMA 360 and PERFECTA 360 photo studio versions.

Even the best photo studio will not guarantee the creation of good photos if the people taking the pictures lack knowledge, especially regarding 360-degree photography. Therefore, as a complement to the offer, we propose to conduct a training by the artist photographer Maciej Miętkiewicz, specializing in the subject of 360-degree photography not only in theory, but also in practice, because since 2018 he has been using the PO/5M-2.5T/FOTO rotating platform of our production.

Maciej Miętkiewicz, an artist photographer.

A graduate of the Faculty of Multimedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, a specialist in advertising photography, dealing with the implementation of professional photo sessions for companies from the automotive, furniture, FMCG, HoReCa, clothing, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

In 2018, as one of the first professional photographers in Poland, he equipped his studio with a rotating platform for 360-degree photography PO/5M-2.5T/FOTO of our production.
